feeling stupid.... nikkor 55-200... AFS g vs. DX VR black????

I feel a complete numpty....

all I can see the difference between these 2 lenses is:

1. the weight 255g vs 335g
2. the name
3. the dimensions
4. the price

BUT, in real terms, what difference... please? :shrug:

Woo I win lol, VR = vibration reduction. Basically reduces camera shake, though if you do get that one, switch it off when on a tripod as the two kinda counter act each other.
