Haven't been out for weeks. Was hoping to get some males, but they were nowhere to be found. I do like the way the females blend into their surroundings, very well camouflaged.

I agree three nice shots Stuart, good bird detail in a natural environment.

We'd pay a fortune for camoflague like that, you caught them well here, nice clear shots (y)

Hmm...I'd have to say about 6 meters away. They are quite inquisitive and approachable.
