They all seem a little over-exposed to me. Pity about the bland skies in Nos 1+3.

Yes you're right, if my memory serves it was a pretty overcast day, I may have overcompensated in the processing, whatever, I should have checked them better before posting.


Being new here, perhaps you can help, how do I delete the thread?

No No No! Don't delete.

If we can explain what has happened it might help!

Basically the sky is a bit overexposed so you lose all the detail. Now don't go getting despondent, we have all done it and still do it on occasion. I have my camera set to flash blown highlights for just this reason.

So no deleting on us because it's a good place to start, the spider is good and your windmill follows established compositional rules. So not bad at all, just a small thing to sort the skies!
