FF 24-70mm None have IS?

Why should all lenses have IS? What did people do before IS?

Drop the ISO and up the shutter speed instead - plus you can actually freeze motion this way which IS never can do

When I got into photography about a year ago and was looking at kit I thought I had to get VR as I thought it was what was needed now only 1 of my 5 lens has VR and that is my 70-200mm f2.8 the rest are fast f1.4-2.8 so no need for it.

There are rumours of a Canon 24-70 f/2.8 with IS in the pipeline. I do think it would be a useful feature to have on such a lens, for the same reasons as I would want it on other lenses.

The Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 featured IS and it was useful too.
