Hi Guys,

I thought there was a way to show my aggregate exif data for all of my images, for instance if I want to show a graph or chart of focal length usage or aperture across a selection of images or a project/library. For the life of me, I can't find it in either aperture or google. Is it maybe a plugin I need to download?

Any help?

Thanks
Rick

Rick,

Sorry I can't help you directly Rick but Apple Stores run really great workshops on Aperture if there is one near you. You can see what workshops are running on the particular stores Apple website and book a place. Best of all they are free.

I went to one a few weeks ago and I was the only person there, the bloke ran through the basics and, once he was aware that I was quite knowledgable on them already he jumped right in and ran through any questions I had. It was an hour well spent - he knew his stuff too and obviously wasn't simply a salesman on workshop duty.

Failing that, you could go to the Genius bar with the question, again free but sometimes it's best to book a place.

I've seen various programs for a PC that can do this. No idea about Mac i'm afraid.

Lightroom 3 can easily tell you the quantities in a collection of a particular parameter up to 4 ways (e.g. Nikon D90 : 70-200 : ISO 200 : F2.8x100 F4x500 F6x200 etc etc) which gives you some kind of idea what you use a lot - I'm sure Aperture can do the same, although this isn't a pretty graph, you could always put the numbers into Excel or something else to make one..
