ello folks, had a really good day today with my first pics of fieldfares and finally got a decent shot of some long tailed tits yay!, It's been a long wait for them.

Very nice mate, One of the birs i will be looking for in the next few weks--that and a nice Redwing.I se the apples are doing their job now.

Mark, aye they were going mental for the apples today, very possessive of them too. There were 3 or 4 blackbirds trying to nip in to get a nibble but the Fieldfares were having none of it, did try to get some of the wee mini battles captured but light wasn't good enough for me to get a decent shutter speed to catch anything good. They were a bit timid of approaching the hide when I first went in but soon got used to me and ignored me completely after about 20mins.

Will try and get through in the next week. Im off to try and get a few more Buzzard shots---found a place where within 2 miles i spotted 5 all very close to the road although 2 of these were using lamposts and i want more natural.So will get to the hide shortly.
