Film compatability question

I know you can not use true IR films with the EOS 3, but what about Ilford SFX 200, as it is not a true IR film.

All help or comments would be appreciated.

Why can't you use IR film with an EOS 3...

Whichever IR/psuedo IR film you use, you need a filter, I think you have to use Ilfords filter with SFX, not sure,
I have some Rollei 25 IR and I'll be using an R72 which cuts it down to like....iso 3 or something ridiculous

ilford SFX records some IRwavelengths but not as much as a proper IR film when you use an IF filter like an R72.

Thanks for the info.
I got a 3pack of the SFX200 and it came with a ilford deep red cokin p filter.
I have a EOS 1000NF I will try the film with, but I want to use the capabilities of my EOS3
