film lens question

[Gary.D]

Is the Canon EF 28-105mm f/4.0-5.6 USM Lens (this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260669205470ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT) compatible with canon film eos cameras, such as the canon eos 3?
Thanks

So far as I know any EF lens will fit any Eos camera. EF-s however will only fir crop sensor dslrs.

Yes. I had a version as the kit lens on my EOS5. The price looks quite high though, as this is a basic model.

Yes, but IIRC there is the f3.5-4.5 version in the classifieds for less money which is a MUCH nicer lens.
