Films that feature photography or photographers.

Apocalypse Now.

There's a lot of photography documentaries on youtube. There's the BBC 'Imagine' Vivian Maier and William Eggleston documentaries, and a South Bank show with Robert Frank to name but a few.

For drama films - Kong: Skull Island

Finding Vivian Maier was on SKy Arts (I think you can download it still) and it's on DVD too

The Secret life of Walter Mitty

don't let ben stiller put off

The only ones I remember are Blow Up and The Bang Bang Club. The latter has a lot of resonance, and I remember that era very well. Kevin Carter committed suicide in his car close to where we lived at the time, and I'm pretty sure my wife and one of his sisters belonged to the same book club.

Not Christmas or family appropriate, but Different Strokes includes a photographer as the male lead character and a fashion shoot on location too.
