Filter advice

On a recent trip I lost a couple of my inexpensive Cokin/Kood filters and it got me thinking. I should upgrade them. I don't think I can really stretch to a Lee system but was wondering what other people use.

I have looked at the following

Cokin/Kood pro Z
Hitek
Lee might have to be used

What are your thoughts?

I bought a single used LEE 0.6 soft edge grad and that is all I use. I have a CPL (Hoya pro1 screw in) too but it doesn't get used much.

I use both ND and ND Grads. I'm also looking at a big stopper

If you're careful there's nothing wrong with Koods, they have great neutrality. The are really prone to scratches though.

I have looked at the SRB filter but they are on P size, and I was thinking of going 100mm x 150mm for the grads

So buy one of those aswell then, you get what you pay for imo.

I bought a set of Formatt Hitech filters 100 x 150 along their new filter holder with built in polariser, you should have a look at them.

No colour cast, I find them very good
