Yes
Looking to get some more filters for my dp2 merrill but find taking them on and off a pain so was wondering what drop in filter kits are out there?..I see cokin do a 49mm adaptor which allows you to use their filter holder and filters are there any better alternatives?..Never really used filters much until recently getting my nd filter and fancy trying some others out.

there's cokin a size that's fairly small, and p size goes upto 82mm thread, different brands make stuff to fit cokin, hitech are an example, and kood

Think it was cokin a I was looking at as dont want something massive

as ive turned my dp2 in i cant check for you, but u could order a cheapo holder off ebay and check for vinyetting but thats unlikely to be a issue, do you have a dp1 too?
as you doing digital you only really need grad nd/ full nd, cpl

If go for the p series, you will have better compatibility with other cameras/lenses in the future, especially with wider stuff.

I had the Kood Cokinalikes a few years ago, wasn't for me as it turned out I wasn't one for filters(that might have changed now) but it was a quick and easy system to use.

quick google and cokin a is fine even for dp1 apparently :)
but with p being bigger it does give you more options, but also more cost

Cheers mate..I am in two minds because as you say I only would really use an nd and cp

I bought the p kit from SRB but not had chance to use it but based on nd1000 should be ok. I know they are local to you too and are cheap for a trial.

Ahhh what a div didnt even look on srb site! Do they do equivalent to the 10 stop in square drop in filter..sorry for dumb questions!

Think that is the maximum they have though could stack 3 of them together.
Yeah guess so but still only 6 stops if reading it right..but not a bad price for adaptor and holder as I could then add filters of my choice
