Aleady use Cokin 'P' filters, which I've loved for ages – good price and good quality. However, just bought a lurvely Nikon 12-24mm f/4 and any wider than 15mm, you start to see the edge of the P-size filterholder.

Which filter system are you wideangle addicts using? I've looked at LEE ones, simply because I keep hearing about them and Noton keeps going on about them in his DVD, but the cost is a little prohibitive - what other size options do I have that will give me full 12mm coverage without breaking the bank?

I've been looking into this for my siggy 10-20, and so far I've found that the cokin Z-pro holder is reversible and can hold 1 filter that way, for wider lenses.
As for using any more than 1 filter though.. I'm back to square one in my search :P

Cokin do a 'P' wide angle adapter. I think this should be OK at 12mm, but will leave it to someone who's actually used that combination to confirm.
A quick search may turn up a slightly more concrete answer.

I use a Lee filter holder with a wide angle adapter.
At 12mm on my 12-24mm equipped 40D I can stack up to three filters without and noticable vignette.

I have a P wide angle adaptor and it was fine with my Sig 10-20 on a 40D. No issues at all. Only one filter at a time though (although careful use of bluetac can rectify that)

That might be a good idea - I have a 77mm fitting for my regular P-holder. Is it this you're on about?

Richardthesane, I take it the LEE filters are much bigger than the Cokin P ones - 6x4 aren't they? Woud love some but £140 or so for the grad starter kit is a bit out of my reach at the moment.

MMMMM not on my Sigma

Best off buying the Lee filter holder

Use a Lee holder with Hitech filters (made by Formatt) - can't complain at mine.

My 10-22mm with wideanglecan hold 4 filters fine, but adding a CPL causes problems above about 13mm. Could remove a couple of slots (main advantage of the Leeholder) but so far haven't felt the need, just removed the CPL

I've not yet put this on to practice, but a blob of blu-tac on the edge of the lens looks like it'll do the job on my sigma 10-20
