Help please.

When I purchased my D90 (2nd user) I received along with the camera a set of filters.
They are Maroon,Orange & Blue and on the protective? removable protection they are stamped "106 Lee Filters". What are they for and how do I use them ?.

Should have added that they are 3.3/4" (95mm) square.

I think these are lighting gels, i.e. for use with lighting rather than being used as a camera filter.

They are flimsy.

Pretty certain they are lighting gels then, not camera filters - use them to fire speedlight through or use with studio lighting.

Just had confirmation from Lee Filters that they are in fact lighting filters, as you rightly say.
