Hi all
Can anyone suggest any filters fit for city photography? For London and New York...daytime walk around type of shooting?
Also something under £30 ish?

Polariser sounds like the one, will be a lot of window reflection in New York!
Any brands to avoid?

Don't know about avoid. But if you are going to use wide angle lens. Make sure the one you chose dose not couse vingnetting Excuse spelling slight dyslexia

I haven't got a wide angle...using a 18-105 Nikon lens. However may look at a wide angle in B&H out in the states.

If you don't know what filters you want why not take some pictures without and try work out why you might want them?
