well after a few hard months of thought, to combat my barrier to use my canon without assistance of a tripod or monopod (i only have my left arm - and reaching the shutter button can be awkward).

i tried a shutter release cable tied to a mono'
i tried using a bum bag with mono
i have a sturdy tripod, which is awkward when on the go'

Thats pretty nifty! I wonder if Canon could be convinced into making a Grip the the shutter the other side? Or on Both sides!
