Finaly got the hang of HDR

These shots don't look particularly like HDR shots. However, congratulations for staying away from the usual overcooked HDR.

At last!... someone who appreciates what HDR is for... High Dynamic Range.... and not Walt Disney in crack!

Did you use three bracketed shots and what exposure, eg. +1,0,-1 or greater.
The shots look great.

For the first and third I think I set it to +2 and 1/3, 0 and -2 and 1/3 and the second I used the magic lantern software to take 5 exposures each with 2 stops between them, I'm not sure where it started though

Thanks for the reply's it took me a while to figure my way around the Photoshop jfr pro software, I ended up just leaving it on 32 bit and editing it in Lightroom where I had a lot more flexability with the shadows and highlights

Yes those look quite natural and you wouldn't know they were HDR. I am not sure those subjects actually needed HDR as the tonal range doesn't seem that great.

I use the same method, exporting shots from Lightroom to create a 32 bit composite in photoshop and the editing the result back in Lightroom.
