Can't speak for a Nikon but with Canon dp software you can call up the selected focus point and I think it,s the same for Nikon. Have to wait for another Nikon user for exact way to do it though.
One of the Nikon apps does this, although I can't for the life of me remember which one it is!!

No such things as a stupid question, right?
When I review my photographs, I can't always remember where I focused.
Is there any way, software for example, that can show me where I focused?
I did a quick search but no luck...
Thanks.
I have just tested my Nikon Capture NX and it will show the focus point but only for photos taken with a Nikon camera.
Nikon View NX2 - free download will also show the focus point as well as converting raw and editing.
Come on Spencer, pull your finger out...![]()
You can show the focus point/s, but that only indicates which focus point/s were used - not necessarily which part of the subject they were covering at the moment the shot was taken.
If you use focus-recompose technique, ie focus on the area you want sharp and then recompose the image the way you want it while holding that focus position, then it will be completely different.
Thanks and please bear with me...any way to overcome this?
Thanks.
