Finding studios?

Hi all,

When I first started out portrait photography really did not interest me, however, I am really starting to like it.

I can't afford lights etc at the moment and until I can get rid of my of my VW Corrado's I can't transform my garage in to a studio. I am thinking of maybe hiring a studio with equipment for an hour in maybe early November (gives me chance to read up on it).

How would I go about trying to find a studio? Ideally I am looking around Shrewsbury however Stoke/Telford would be considered.

Thanks :)

Worksop has a very good studio complex...

Don't be put off by the ghastly web-page: it's a great studio with lots of lights, a reasonable model register (if that's what you're after) and people there who will offer sound advice for lighting set-ups (or sit quietly out of the way while you do your own thing)...

If you could make it as far as Birmingham (Jn 9 M42) you'd be welcome to use ours.
