Fire

I actually got my canon 100 out for a proper play this afternoon.
First time I've tried fire, any hints or suggestions for when I try again tonight?
I know the background isn't great, so I'm going to wait for the light level to drop so I can loose the garden fence.
I like the smoke trails but the flames are lacking something.

Thanks for the link, I've taken that on board and this is what I got tonight. Think I still need higher shutter speeds as the flames aren't as sharp as I'd like.
