Firefox & Exif Viewer (Mac)

Just upgraded to FF7 and got a message saying the Exif Viewer isn't compatible.

Thing is, I got the same message when I upgraded to 6! :bang:

Is there really no exif viewer compatible with FF?

That's great, thanks. Didn't think of looking there as FF said it couldn't find anything compatible.

Have a look on the PhotoMe site and see if they've updated their FF plugin as well. It doesn't usually show up on Mozilla's site.

It actually still works fine, it just needs to be forced to run or have it's config modified to list FF7 as a supported version.

This whole death march of a new major release every fortnight in the name of trying to achieve version parity with chrome, is just starting to annoy me about firefox. Yes, the old release schedule was slow, but at least it didn't result in extensions stopping working every couple of weeks.

fxif is what I use, works great

FXIF is what I use and is fine on FF7,

Not a home now, but there is a comapabilty check add-on, that will let you run what are supposed to be add-ons that don't work.

I'm using a PDF reader addon, that is not said to work after FF3.5 but fine on the very latest FF.

Yep, FXIF is fine. Just updated to 7.0.1 though and Exif Viewer now works as well.
