Firefox Spellchecker

I just reinstalled Firefox but the spellchecker now doesn't appear to be working. Ive checked Preferences and it's ticked. Any ideas?

Sorry, can't help you with Firefox. I use Google spellchecker and find that very good.

Go to Firefox home page and look for add-ins and reinstall. I had this happen once and had to do a re-install to cure the problem.

Thanks. I actually had to install the dictionary for some strange reason but it's working fine now (in fact it's even better as I installed the British English version rather than the US one it usually comes with).
