I went out with the intention of attempting to capture some of the Perseid Meteor Shower on camera, I saw plenty of meteors but failed to photograph any.
So I had a go at photographing the Milky Way which was clearly visible and hopefully for my first attempt are OK. This were taken in a "dark skies" area and the night sky was stunning. Unfortunately I had work the next day so had to leave earlier than I would have liked and I turned up in T-shirt and shorts which were not very helpful as the wind was very strong and cold.
Shots taken at Hay Bluff and the Gospel Pass.
