First attempt playing with long exposure

Not so sure about the ghost. It's partly the placement in the frame, and doesn't feel like it's really adding to the image (for me). Is it you? It's good fun to play with things like this so you can see what can be achieved though.
 
I like the concept of the ghost figure but I would do two things -

1 ) re think the positioning of the ghost

2 ) re think the overall composition

At the moment I find the pier and the ghost competing for presence in the scene. If you shoot the scene again I would lose the pier altogether and just concentrate on the rocks. Once composed this way have the ghost standing on the rocks rather than beside them so you don't get the rock cutting through the legs.
