First attempt with Canon 18-55: Celebrating 50 years of Mini

Afternoon everyone

So as its raining i decided to get a couple of my model minis down to do a shoot celebrating 50 years of mini. Thoughts welcome. This my first time doing this so any c&c is welcome, first one taken with camera flash and second was with using the natural light.

Fine photos,but..... just uninspiring. Sorry, I looked, thought they were fine, didn't feel there was anything to say really. A While ago I saw a pic of a lego model, I thought it was great, simply a joy to behold. I don't know why exactly, just wanted to see it again, & I looked at it every time I visited. I have no specific criticism of your pics, but they don't have that 'magnetism' for me.
