Hi all
tried my hand at bird photography for the first time other day.
several quite pleased with although none perfect :cautious:;) i was quite pleased with this one

a lot to to learn one thinks

Looks like you have a busy feeder so should have a good chance to get some practice in :)

IMO there is quite a bit going on in the photo but I like how you have captured the wing movement of the bird about to land !

whats that about then? will have a look but doubt it will be upto standard on here
 
Very good sharp shot agree lots going on but the goldie captures the eye Well done.
 
Good first attempt. Lucky you for so many Siskins! I would try setting a post or branch near the feeder for the birds to perch on before (or after) getting to the feeder and photographing the birds on that. You will not get so many shots and they will probably perch and fly again almost immediately so it is frustrating but you will end up with more pleasing photos in the end.
