First attempts

The last one for me, dont forgot to change the focus point next time you do it, makes the shot abit more interesting rather than the car being central. For your first time you have done a good job.
 
What speed did you get down to as the background doesn't look excessively blurred ? The cars are nice sharp and all but the mini (the driver was a right cock in the pit lane but that's another story :) have blurred wheels which looks good. If these are cropped try play with the angle the cars are running as may add further interest to the shot :)

it was at 1/250, yeah he was the same in the paddock
 
I can't remember who but someone put a great post on panning in the tutorial section. It is defiantely worth a read :)
 
Hi Nathan,

Good Attempt. Cropping & Levelling is important so try to keep these clean and avoid distracting background/foregrounds.

Plus, try flipping the images, so the car is going left-to-right instead of right-to-left. You'll be pleasantly surprised the difference it makes :D
