First crack at fireworks

Looking down on Casino Square in Monaco from La Turbie, to welcome in the New Year.
Any pointers would be great, I know its not the best shot as I think I was a touch too far away, and also the wind was blowing pretty strong. But still, quite happy with it for a first attempt!

I think for a first attempt you should be extremely pleased its a great photpgraph, Im not an expert so cant critique like others would but I really like how it has come out!

Nice shot. And even nicer to see a 'first attempt' fireworks shot with some foreground interest.

thanks guys, I was reasonably happy with the outcome.
Dave: Thanks for the link, I am going to 1) have a read through it, and 2) then search for when there might be some fireworks in the local area to have another crack.
