First dog pictures

I havn't seen my dog in a long while (he lives with my grandmother) so today when I got the opportunity to see him I thought I would take some pics. here is what I came up with:

Hey thanks , does anyone know how 3 came along? I mean the lighting/angle is different, just wondering how I can get more like that one?

Any tips?

What camera did you use?

I would guess P&S with flash on:shrug:

Nikon D50 + Poleriser filter. I was thinking that earlier the possiblity of the flash going off, If it did I didnt notice :|

If you look at the good exposure of his neck/throat in #3 I would bet on flash

Did you use a polarizes in these shots?

Polarizers can give you great effects but rob you of light and this could have caused the flash to fire.

Also, polarizers come to their full rights with primary colours and shot "across" - 90 degrees to - sunlight. never into or with the light.

Polarizers are also dandy for unwanted reflections and enhancing colours, but in bright sunlight stick with rule above.
