First ever portrait with the 350D

i like this, nice catchlights etc, might warm it up a little though, play with levels?

For a first attempt at a portrait its very good. As EosD has said the catchlights in the eyes are a must and you have managed to cpature the subject without any harsh shadows on her face.

With it being a upclose and intermate portrait I would have had the girl look into the camera to make the relationship between her and the camera a little stronger.

Great first attempt.
