It's addictive....must resist bigger lens :nono:

I used my 70-200 F4 with a kenko 1.4 TC. With a short range telephoto like this you have to get close...very close :)

My trick is to go to places where the birds get an easier feed but is frequented by humans such as a park with a lake. The lake will have ducks and either the park or people will put out food for them. The birds know this is an easy meal and get braver and braver. They will still fly away if you get too close but you can get closer than normal in a popular feeding spot.

Yep, I'm also seeing an Owl in the first photo... nothing like a female Blackbird!

Photo 3 is my pick of that lot... great angle
