Hi all.
Following a recent thread of mine regarding a fast portrait lens for my Canon 550d, one of the suggestions was to try using a flash to bounce off Walls, ceilings etc, and therefore use in conjunction with my current lenses.
Question is, what am i looking for in a flash? They seem to vary incredibly in price. I had narrowed a new lens down to a Sigma 30mm f1.4 or a Canon 35mm f2, but am now curious about a flash. Would I be better off with a flash instead of a different lens do you think? Presumably a flash will allow a much faster shutter speed than no flash, thus enabling me to get good crisp shots in low light??
Any recommendations anyone? I can't afford to spend a fortune, but don't want a load of rubbish either.
