Beginner First Macro shots!

After following this part of the forum for a long time I finally got a macro lens. The Nikon 105mm f2.8.

I immediately went out in the garden with no clue what I was doing and took some shots!

All handheld and it was quite hard with them moving and the wind blowing the lavender bush.

Defo need to get reading up on how to improve!!

Looks like you've managed well, I'd be happy with shots like those (need the right lens first though). My favourite is the third image down.
