Nice colours in both of them. 
I think I like the second one the better of the two. The first is spoiled a little by the objects in the top left and bottom left of the frame. I might be tempted to crop a little off the left of #2 as well.

Yeah the objects in the first shot were unavoidable really, having consumed a reasonable amount of booze as it was our last night there the 450d was precariously placed atop a rail near the bar! Didnt take the tripod, as a n00b didnt fancy looking a geek!
Would love to know how to lose the "glare" on the second to around the sun.
Still am happy practising in such a great place, shame to leave 30 degrees on Saturday to return to the UK and a rather chilly 8 degrees!!!!!!
