First OS lens

I just received my Sigma 18-50mm DC OS HSM. Put it on my camera, took a photo and noticed something. I saw the bit in the lens move after the photo was taken, I know they're meant to but it seems to move after the shutter has closed which i thought was strange. I would have thought the movement would have been whilst the shutter was open. Hope this makes sense.

The OS system fires up usually on half press and untill the shutter is fired, what you probably saw was the OS system spinning down, the reverse of the image steadying up when the OS is activated. If the shot looks fine stop worrying
