hi all and thanks for looking.

I am after some advise as I have a photo shoot for a winner of a local dog charity.
The winner is a 15 year old girl, will have her dog there and maybe the disabled person she walks the dog for.
Is there any legal issues i need to address and forms that we all need to sign?

eg, consent forms or release forms that sort of thing.

many thanks Ben.

Thats not really for you to worry about as consent is down to the charity.
nI wouldnt do a single shoot without liability insurance these days so if you dont already have that then get it.

Assuming that the girl would have a legal guardian present (or at least you have a responsible female in the room), then I doubt you will have any problems.
(making the assumption that you mention it is a 15 year old girl, for the reason that you are worried about the fact that it is a young girl. If it had been a spotty faced 17 year old boy, would you have worried?)
Otherwise, I would assume that this shoot is both publicity and a treat for the 'winner', in which case I would hope that the charity would sort the permission side of things (probably terms and conditions of entering a competition where you are going to get photographed if you win).
BTW, supposedly the rule is that if you are a good photographer, you can pose anyone to any position without needing to touch them.

thanks for the replies so far.

I have asked in no uncertain terms that one of her parents are there, plus most of it will be in the local park, but a few will be in her home.
I have given the charity many pictures I have taken and they are more than happy with my skill, but after seeing the level of the "pro" they hired last year, the person hiring me said that I could shut my eye's and take them!!
