First picture of people

Nice candid image there Blaine, now get out into the street for some proper street shooting.(y)

the major problem is the composition.. the difference between a photogrpaher and a happy snapper is when you take pictures of poeple the head shouldn't be in the middle.. half your picture is a door and a wall with a a couple of light switches.. the other half is man sat having a moment... half the picture is wasted.. either focus and recompose so the head is higher or move your focus point up the screen.. the concept is nice. the exposure looks OK (from the small pic I see) but the composition really lets it down...

sorry I dont see the point in telling you its a nice/good picture ..it's got problems and if not pointed out then you will carry on taking pics with half wasted :)
 
I like it but I am bias knowing both you and said man in photo, to me its the moment captured which is what was wanted and not posed.
