Yes
Got a Kood reversing ring for Xmas, so had a little play with it on my Nikon 50mm f1.8.

As well as my SB600 off camera, I used my brilliant little Manfrotto table tripod (y) Shot was sharpened slightly and cropped - berries are about 5mm diameter

Not a brilliant shot i know, but was impressed with the level of detail.

Thats berry, berry good! :D

I found it impossible to do without my wee tripod. Does anyone have any tips of how to use a reversing ring in the field?

A few more shots with the reversing ring, just stuff lying around the house. Haven't had a chance to use it "properly" yet, but for anyone wanting to dabble into macro, here are some more examples of what a tenner will do:

As usual, poor natural light. These were lit with a desk lamp and energy saving bulb
