first of all welcome to the forum, its a great place to be .

your pic is great as a starter, nice colours , however the sun kissed leaves are known as ' blown out ' this means that they are over exposed and have become totally white with little to no detail,

other than that, its a great effort

hope you dont mind but i did a quick crop and a bit of rough cloning to try and show you what can be done with your pic

it would also benefit from a nice border to frame it, ' how-to's ' can be found around here somewhere

Nice Peacock Butterfly And welcome.

The leaves are a little overexposed but I'm not sure I would go so far as to say they are fully blown.

Good picture and hope to see more. There is no exif in the image - what camera are you using?

Edit: I played with the picture as well and came up with an almost identical crop to mypix

Thanks for your comments, I am very new to the adjustment and framing of digital photos.

My camera is a Sony Cybershot P9 - I will search the forum about 'hints and tips'
