First post in birds

I took this the other day with a Nikon D40 with 55-200
I have to say being disabled I get a bit of camera shake unless I use a tripod but this one was a spur of moment shot and hope for the best

A very obliging jay - normally they fly off in the blink of an eye. I'd be happy with it, if it had been my shot.

Getting a Jay normally involves hours of staking out a baited site so this is brill

Thank you all for your comments it does make it all worth while. to me it means I am starting to get the hang of my DSLR.
And I find it a thrill when I download to the computer and see the results.
