First post here; make or break I guess isn't it :D
Shot this with my 350D, canon 100mm macro and full set of extension tubes; think settings were 100mm, 1/200sec, f/11

Am unsure of the rules on this forum for size of pics so have made it this size to be safe- enjoy:

my smugmug is apparently having some problems; but they hope to 'have them resolved shortly' ;) lol

Thanks; yea the tubes really do help- got a reversal ring recently and a 50mm; will need to try that out this weekend

Nice bright image. I love these little wasps they have so much character. You did well to find one keeping still.

Forum image size rules are easy to find and worth a quick browse - but as a reference 800 pixels on the longest edge and 200KB max image size. You'll soon be gently reminded if you post em too big.

Look forward to seeing some more of you shots.(y)

look more like a ant at a costume party dress as a wasp

Thanks all- yea think it's a Digger Wasp; it's quite cool you can see them catching prey- caught one eating a blue bottle
