So after buying a new battery and a film, the old Canon 1000FN SLR came to life a couple of weeks back, and today I got the results.
I must say I'm pleased, had no idea what to expect and a few shots really pleased me. Thinking of trying a black and white film next.
Here's a few of the results.

I don't recall setting any special filters but I love the way this has turned out

The Canon EOS 1000FN is a good camera and produces good results. Look forward to seeing how you get on with black and white.

I like them all but I think No.1 is that little bit extra special. Well done.

I was Given a Canon EOS 1000Fn by a Lady who had not used it since the 1990's -- there was a Fuji Superia 400 which I processed and scanned and sent her -- it had her Kids on it 30 years younger ! I have been using it quite a lot lately CANON EOS 1000fN.JPG

It's a very nice camera Pete. And very easy to use. Spare lens too. Bonus!
