First Snow

This was taken in the fields near my house after a we got covered in snow (for the first time in years) in February 2009. We don't get much snow here so I made the most of it and took lots of pics.

I've brightened the picture up, tweaked the colouring and sharpened it.

You had me worried there, I thought the winter had started already!

I have to admit the picture itself does not do much for me but you look to have white snow where the sun is shining on it (which is always a bonus) and the delicate blue in the sky sets it off
