First Studio Shoot this Sunday

Hey Guys,

Got my first studio shoot coming up on Sunday, I'm very excited The studio is run by my local camera club, one of the guys who has done some cracking work is taking me under his wing for a day. My friend is doing the modelling as she would like some shots for her personal portfolio.

I'm starting at 1.30, model turning up at 2.30 to give me time to get set up, get the heating on, get the kettle on etc. I'm searching for shots and poses that I like and will take them on my laptop as a guide, she is doing the same so we should have some ideas before we start so hopefully no awkward standing about.

We are planning a high key style with gothic clothing. I've never tried posing someone before so its a challenge on multiple levels.

Any tips or general good lucks are welcome

enjoy it, its great fun, once you have got over the first 10 mins of shooting then everything will just fall into place (sort of)

Melevo - Hope youre right, the model is a friend so I dont know if that makes it easier or harder.
