Went to a meet last week in Carlo's (Donkeymusic) studio in Warrington for my first encounter with a studio. Luckily we had 2 models who didn't need any direction at all. Simple 1 light set up - so it was all about the crop / composition and pp work to get the best out of the shots.

Love to know what y'all think. (y)

#2 - went for it on the pp here just to see how it looks - outdoor with 2 speedlights

Must add that i used Tom's (tiler65) skin smoothing tutorial on these and high pass filter on the eyes (y)

number 2 is the best for me

First for me, the direct almost challenging stare is perfect.

No 2, while I like the pose, the processing does nothing, +there's a bit of a greeny cast.

Last would be really good also except you have chopped the top of her head off.

cheers Wiggy (y) You need to get yourself back to 'the thread' :D

cheers Les, yes agree with the processing - went for a cross process, vignette thing just experimenting.

with #3 it was a deliberate chop.. to put the eyes on the 1/3. I know what you mean though, i have the full image so i'll compare.

Thanks for the input (y)
