Ive had a girl ask for some shots for a Modelling portfolio, she has approached a couple of local agencies but they all require some shots of her.
Ive only worked with experienced models or preformers in the past (who know how to pose and done need much direction) so this is new ground for me too
Ive agreed to do it on a "time for CD" as i may not produce the shots she wants and she doesnt want to pay much.
Im looking for advice on posing mainly and what sort of shots to go for.
My initial thoughts a few head, full length, and seated shots. The studio i have use of is limited to a black or white back drop though so may be a bit restrictive. Also planning on some outdoor shots but the weather may well have other plans.
Ive told the model to bring a few changes of clothes and make up inline with the work she is thinking of going for (although at this stage she seems pretty open to all avenues of modelling).
Any good resources for portfolio specific poses etc? ive seen some places say a models portfolio should be nothing more than some passport style photos as the agency should have their own photographer??? but surely something slightly creative would surely help?
Any advice greatly appreciated
Cheers Neil
