First tripod - Manfrotto 393 MK393S-PD?

some of the smaller ones i found whilst loking for a sturdy tripod seemed a little flimsy for my liking.... especially some of the fold up real small ones.....

manfrottos produce decent tripods.... the xprob 055 i got im well happy with!

have a run down you local camera shop and have a look to see what you think... just stay clear of the jessops brand ones- i got one that i despised, as it couldnt even hold the camera properly, so now its an expensive umbrella/flash/strobe stand instead....
