First use of flash

Decided to make a concerted effort to use flash this morning so dusted off the LightPix Q20II to use with the Ricoh GRiii.
It was a learning experience to get the right lighting as it was very easy to overdo it as it is a simple manual flash with power settings from 1 -1/64.
Nothing special but just showing what I got ... all advice on using flash in this way appreciated.

Apart from the first shot which has just a tad too much flash you've done a cracking job of getting the fill light just right. Great set mate. Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks Wayne, I chatted with the guy in #1 to explain I was testing my flash on him and showed him that I thought it needed toning down a bit
