Fish eye lens for a nikon D40

Sorry me again i love the fish eye lenses....and there effect can anyone point me in the right direction for one that will fit a Nikon d40 thanks

That is a cracking lens, it is a shame that Canon don't do one similar.

The DoF on a 10.5mm lens, even wide open should still be pretty deep, so getting focus 100% perfect isn't really crucial.
 
The Tokina 10-17mm is a good alternative to the Nikon, however I'd urge caution before buying either as the novelty soon wears off - I think my old 10-17 is onto it's fourth owner here on TP in just over a year.....

My suggestion would be to invest in one of the screw-on fisheye adapters that can be found on Ebay and have a play around with it. That way if you decide that the effect isn't for you then you've only laid out £20 or so.
