Fisheye lens generally are the ultra wide angles lens, or ones that will give you 180 degrees of vision. Can be used to make interesting images like Flash's or this one:

Sorry about the not so great shot, but I thought I would post it just for info.

My seven year old sat on one of those rocking toys in the park shot with a sigma 10-20 at 10mm from what I remember, not on the right computer to check.;)

jock the circular ones im guessing are an adaptor by the IQ?

From memory (these are scans from 20+ years ago!) I think I had a 24mm lens with a screw on Jessops fisheye converter like this one:

Cheap and cheerful, loads of colour fringing at the edges but gave about 160 degrees all-round I think on a 24mm lens.

Now I have the Sigma 10-20 and also a Sigma full frame 15mm which is the 180 degree diagonal type.

yep looked like a screw on as IQ massively drops ive noticed, even on a film scan a proper one gives better results.

Still some people cant justify £500+ for a bit of fun, and so the screw on adaptors can be great for them to mess about with.

I want the FF, as my DC one is no use on a 1D :( still carry a 30D around for when i want to fish lol

If you want to be really silly, and cheap, you can add a "peephole" lens, designed for a security view through a door to a lens cap.

Quality is awful, makes screw on adapters seem brilliant, but costs about £5
