Hi guys,

Pictures from my first shoot with new Canon 40D. Just upgraded from the 400D and really happy with the results. I used snapseed on the ipad for the PP and I think they have come out well.

Please let me know what you think!

All comments and critisism welcome!

Cheers,
DT21

#'s 1 & 2 are both suffering with Haloing and the horizons are off.

#3 Sorry doesn't do anything for me. The wires, House and weeds are very distracting and to be honest the boat isn't a very appealing main subject either.

#4 I think is the best of the bunch. Nice composition, subject and i think the focus works very well.

#5 Works well. The path worn on the grass leads you in nicely. A bit of Haloing around the building.

Of course these are just my thoughts and you may not agree.:)

Thanks guys. All feedback taken on board. Some nice put than others I will say!

My favourite is #5 because of the location and the character.

I didn't really notice the halo effect that much but will note that for next time!

Good set of images there nice one, i like number 4 for its compostion and the details on the boat, and i like number 5 for its lonley feel and the pastely colours in it.

Cheers

can I ask what editing software you used here ? I love pics with just one coloured element as in number 2 but I dont know how to do it

Do like #2 despite the technical errors.

I like the PP.

2,4 & 5 for me are good images, however horizons need to be level and verticals need to be, well, vertical. Whilst harbouring (boom boom) a hatred for colour popping I really quite like no 2.

Good stuff.
